Updates and Reminders:

*Parents – Do you have a few hours each week to volunteer at the school? DSA Media Center needs assistance at least 1 hour a day, and the front office would appreciate assistance with answering the phones and general information (3-4 hours a day). To volunteer in the media center, contact Ms. Hill (ifeude_hill@dekalbschoolsga.org).  To volunteer in the office, contact Mrs. Howard (donna_howard@dekalbschoolsga.org)
*DCSD will release SPLOST V Facilities and Feasibility studies  the morning of August 23. Plan to attend one of the two meetings this week to review and give feedback on the proposed plan(s).  ClickHERE for meeting details.
*We appreciate the timely pick up of students after school for the first two weeks. Students not in rehearsals or auditions should still be picked up by 4:00pm.  As students start after school rehearsals, parents are reminded to be timely in the pick up as well .  Students should communicate to parents the end times of rehearsals/auditions.
*Senior families – Have you scheduled your Senior Meeting with Dr. Crosslin? If not, refer to the information given to students and mailed home to register for your appointment.  Slots are going fast!
*Student parking permits are now available.  Cost is $20 per semester.  See Campus Supervisor, Mr. Franks, for an application.  All student drivers are required to register their vehicle and have a parking permit .  Deadline for 1st semester is September 2.
