QuestBridge College Prep Scholarship:

QuestBridge’s College Prep Scholarship provides opportunities designed to help outstanding low-income high school juniors prepare to apply to top colleges. More than 2,000 students will be selected as College Prep Scholars and will receive one or more awards that will make them stronger applicants to selective colleges.
The QuestBridge College Prep Scholarship is designed for high school juniors who have shown outstanding academic ability despite facing economic challenges. Most College Prep Scholars come from households earning less than $60,000 annually and have experienced long-term economic hardship.Application and Details
Armstrong Atlantic State University:
Seniors interested in attending AASU and majoring in math and science who would like to be considered for the STEP Scholars Program can attend a free 6 week program starting June 16, 2014. For more information, please visit the web site here.
Dekalb County PTA’s Gladys Cook Scholarship: The application packet deadline is March 3.
Summer Opportunities:
Ga Tech Sheller College of Business program, “Wall Street on West Peachtree” is open to 80 students. This one week class (June 16, June 23) provides high school students with basic money management and investing tools. Registration on a first-come basis.
2014 Summer Mentoring Initiative in Legal Education Program for High School girls called S.M.I.L.E. Applications are due the end of March. More information.
